Guess who turned 1 year old in January??

Yea, that's right on January 9th, I turned 1 year old.  Mom said I am no longer a puppy - I am now a DOG !!  And I have to start acting like a big girl.  But she said I can still cuddle and snuggle with her when I feel like it, (smile - she's such a softy when she looks at me).  Only 8 more months till I go off to CCI college.  I can wait to meet up with some of my litter mates.  I have missed them.

Till next post - keep those tails help high.

Some December Family Photos

Thanks to some resourceful puppy raisers, my mom was able to get these great photo of my brothers and sisters that were taken during December.  So, I thought I'd share our family photos with everyone!!

This is Kanue.  His puppy raiser said he's already 70 pounds.  I laughed when I saw how much he looks like me.  He's a big boy.

This is Kira.  She is such a wise looking one!!  Wonder what's got her attention?
This is Koda.  Koda is being raised by a high school student as part of a "Service Dog Club" project.  One of the puppy raisers found the photo and shared it with us.  Mom thinks were could be twins.
This is Kolby.  He's also weighing in at 70 pounds.  Sometimes he acts goofy and he gets called "Mister".  But he is so loved by everyone, and he's so smart.  Get a good look at those long legs!!  Look at how he sets on the step.
And of course there's me, Karlyn.  I weigh in at 57 pounds.  My sister Kashi's photo is missing because she was away at the kennels.  She finally became a "woman".  She only weighs in at 53 pounds, (she's always been the smallest of our group.

We're hoping that this month when we turn 1 year old, we can get a photo collage, similar to the one we did at 6 months old.  If we are successful, then I'll post that for everyone to see.  It give a very good idea of how we all look side by side.

Well, here's wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR, and hope your puppy classes are going well - we're on the down hill side of training.  Only 8 more months until turn in!!

Remember the 4 most important rules my mom keeps telling me:
1.) we were born for a very important job, (we're CCI puppies)
2.) always remember our commands, they'll come in handy no matter what our job might be
3.) don't lick, people don't always like dogs with a "licker license"
4.) always remember, no matter what - our moms will always be our moms
